Lovely hotel very close to all the Blackpool attractions. Tony & Steve are very friendly nothing is too much trouble for them. All areas of the hotel are immaculate very beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Our room was at the back of the hotel and very quiet. The bed was very comfy and all the little extras were much appreciated. The Breakfast was really nice with a choice of best quality produce cooked to perfection by Tony and served with a smile by Steve. We really enjoyed our 5 night stay thank you very much.
We liked the b&b very much,clean bright and the breakfast was spot on although we were worried about leaving any food. Rooms were very warm. The owner was ok I just wish he would smile a bit more and make you feel at ease. Overall good.
Me and my husband had a 3 nights stay at the Valentine Lodge. The host Stephen was very welcoming and explained everything we needed to know. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable bed. The little extras touches ie toiletries, hair dryer,safe,bottle water in a small fridge, iron& iron board,tea & coffee facilities. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels. Breakfast was served at 10am which was great. Breakfast was excellent with great quality of product used. Good location 10 minute walk to main shops, theatre and bars. Will definitely book here again. Thankyou
We stayed for 4 nights, we had a double room. The room was spacious, lovely and clean. The bed was very comfortable and there was a double shower in the bathroom. The food for breakfast was excellent with a good choice range and it was plentiful. The host was lovely and very helpful. We would definitely go back. Unfortunately though it is not suitable for the less able, but it does state this in their own information. Valentine Lodge is situated about 5 mins from the North Pier and 10 from all the main shops. Thank you very much for a great stay.
We have just got here. we met a really nice guy who told us about the place and took our breakfast order. Breakfast is at 10 am no later, it's a really lovely place just down the road from the train station our room is big really big with on-sweet. it faces the street but not much noise from the road. There are plenty of bars and restaurants about and loads to do. Also, when you look out of the B&B window, look out for the fried egg
Had a lovely 2 day break at valentine Lodge. The staff was really friendly. The room was a decent size, the facilities where great, bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. We will definitely be going back to stay!
Really nice place, spotlessly clean, lovely comfortable beds, the owners have thought of everything here, dressing gowns slippers lotions shampoos tea coffee bottles of water.the breakfast is excellent, cooked to order and of very good quality. The hosts are very attentive and can not do enough for you. A nice touch was when they spotted my wife had a certain type of green tea in our room, next morning at breakfast they had got her favourite tea for her.you can do cheaper in Blackpool , but you cannot do better! .. we will without doubt return.
Room was very well equipped with everything you would need and lovely and clean. The breakfast was very well cooked and presented. The only negative point was the front staff member who was that I can only describe as a job worth person with no sense of humor and condescending with his attitude and comments. If you could put up with that you will have a nice time as it's in a good location.
